This working ranch, located in Three Rivers, California, and just might be the perfect setting for a western wedding around here! There’s a covered barn, a place to keep your horses ( if you decided to bring them along), and a beautiful wooded backdrop for your ceremony. You're far enough from town to feel like you've gotten away, but close enough to drive back to the valley if needed. There’s an AirBNB option, should you choose to stay for the night and plenty of room to park an RV or two.

Alex and Kyle were the sweetest things & already married, but had opted for a court house wedding. We wanted to get them some formal wedding photos and had their cute kiddos tag along and play dress up too.

We settled on a morning timeline and brunch theme, because who doesn’t love a good bloody mary on their wedding day. Okay, it was a fake wedding, but Darci makes a REAL good bloody mary!

Darci’s floral skills ( Indigo Oak Florals ) were off the chain! ( Do people still say that?) I don’t know... but it felt right. She created the perfect fall palette with oranges, pinks, reds and purple. The bouquet reminded me of a perfect sunset, and offered respite from all of the neutral tones that had ruled my wedding season this year! (Still love neutral! But a little color never hurt anyone, either!) My favorites pieces were the beautiful arch installs and a stunning neck piece for our horse.

Speaking of the horse, his name is “California” and he was the most perfect gentleman throughout all of our shenanigans.

Our yummy brunch food was provided by Sequoia Coffee Co, which is also located in Three Rivers, and I highly suggest stopping in for a latte and breakfast sandwich if you’re ever headed into the Sequoia National Park.

If you’re on the hunt for a unique venue with a rustic feel, but not too far away from the valley, definitely get in touch with the ranch to book a tour!
