What a year...

It's brought us toilet paper shortages, mask mandates, and statewide shutdowns... but not even those were going to keep these two from celebrating their love. Luckily, by the time their date came along, county restrictions were loosening up and the venues they had chosen were able to accommodate their small number of guests.

The ceremony took place at their home church, in Visalia, Ca. I'm pretty sure this place has the most beautiful organ pipes in town! There was a traffic jam on the freeway so we took the scenic route back to the reception. That's when I made the newlyweds get out of the motor home and walk through this field...The sky was nice and hazy, thanks to the wildfires, but I think we're all glad we did it.

This was one of the first weddings since the beginning of the whole COVID ERA, that actually felt like a real wedding to me.

Everyone was safe and conscious of their surrounding while still having a blast!

The night was filled with plenty of laughing, dancing, delicious food, and family & friend reunions, just as it should be.

The reception was held at The Gardens Venue, which has fully transformed itself into one of the most romantic venues in Tulare County. The grounds are rich with plants and trees, and there's a beautiful a water feature that would make the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony. I was impressed with the attention to detail and the intentional spaces that allow for a variety of photo opportunities... or just places to sneak off and cuddle with you new hubby! On top of the beauty of the place, it's also super functional. All of the must haves are checked off here -- There's plenty space for large gatherings (for when we're allowed to do that again... wink, wink.), a gorgeous bridal suite, a giant tent, in case of rain, and guest favors are even included in their wedding packages! What more could you as for? If you're on the hunt for a special event venue, I highly suggest you give them a call!
