So you're starting a business... Or maybe you're wanting to take an existing one to the next level?

Where do you start? MARKETING!

Technically, marketing covers A LOT, but put simply, marketing consists of all the actions that go into promoting and selling your product or service. This article will be focusing on social media marketing, building your aesthetic, and why hiring a professional photographer is the way to go.

social media is where it’s HAPPENING!

We are visual creatures, and social media marketing, especially Instagram and Facebook, are blowing other strategies out of the water, with no signs of slowing down! Most of us spend hours scrolling through these social apps every day! The first thing I do when I hear about a new restaurant or business, is look them up on Instagram, if they aren't there, I check Facebook and Google. I want to see who they are and what they're about, and whether they are worth my time and/or money. I'm willing to bet a lot of you do the same exact thing!

What does your brand look like?

This is why it's so important to consider the message the photos that represent you and your brand are communicating to your online audience. They say pictures are worth a thousand words and that applies to your marketing content as well. You can post all day long, but if your content is all over the place or not appealing, you might be wasting your time... And time is $$$

Don't take my word for it...

Get on your favorite social app and look up a successful business or influencer's account...Chances are, they're posting relevant content on a regular basis and their photos flow beautifully together and share the same aesthetic.

What the heck is aesthetic?

In a nutshell, it's how something makes your feel. While you're looking at that successful business's account, think about the "feeling" their feed portrays. Is it warm and cozy? Energetic? Simple & sophisticated? Who knew so much went into posting pictures of products, right?

That's where a professional photographer (me) comes in.

Scheduling a branding session isn't just about getting a bunch of photos.

Prior to your session, we'll chat about your short and long-term goals and what type of photos (that aesthetic thing!) best represent your brand. We'll also establish some key points/products to focus on during your branding session(s). Having a plan ensures the most bang for your buck and keeps the session flowing. Of course, you'll also be getting beautiful, high-resolution photos (no iphone pics here!) to fill your feed and website.

Together, we’ll create thumb-stopping content that attracts your target audience, and ultimately, generates more money!
